about

A part of a score commissioned for a modern dance piece by Zero Moving Dance Company. Recorded on a Tascam 8-track 1/2" reel. All instruments played by David Barnes including four hammer dulcimers, wood blocks, drum, pan lid, conga and recorder. Two of the dulcimers notes are bent by pushing on the opposite side of the bridge. The melody is from a Renaissance vocal piece.
